Who we are: The Kings High School PTSA committee currently includes parents/caregivers of students, 1 teacher representative and student representatives. We organize fundraising, apply for grants and host social occasions at the request of the school. We see our role as link between the school and the community but also help providing student amenities and equipment that is not provided by the government.
We meet every 2nd Wednesday of the month in the School Library at 7 pm.
PTSA 2017 Meeting Dates:
(Meeting date in July to be decided)
(Meeting date in October to be decided)
2015 has been a quiet one on the fundraising front however we have been busy allocating money raised last year including –
– Chef uniforms and new laundering equipment for Food Tech group
– LED lights and Sound system for the PAC
– 2nd hand laptop computers for Special Education
– Science Sensors
And we finalised the handover of over approx. $17,000 towards a classroom set of IPads – courtesy of our successful Kings Karnival in 2014.
A fantastic development – thanks to the generosity of the school, our Second Hand Uniform Shop is taking shape and has now secured its own space in one of the school prefabs where will be able to store and display uniform items with a small changing area.
The shop will be have limited opening hours and we will provide quality second hand uniform pieces for sale to families.

We had a great AGM meeting with a great opening by 2 members of the band ‘The Sleeves’, the very talented year 13 Kings High School Students Jake and Tane – check out their page ‘The Sleeves’. It was a pleasure to listen to them. After all the essential voting and first meeting there was time for some casual chats.
